games of chance

i won the lottery and didn’t even know it. people keep saying that life is nothing more than a game, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. there’s some truth to this. the thing is, we’re all in the game and we all have equal chances to win or lose though we aren’t aware of it. i guess the pitiful thing is that if we do win, we neglect to acknowledge the prize.

i congratulate myself today. i won a friend! i received the prize some time ago, and i realize it’s quite late to deliver my “thank you” speech, but i don’t want to miss another opportunity. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, SIR! (everything includes music, art, even basketball moves - everything) i’ll remember all your kind words and the amazing things you’ve shared. i actually don’t feel like i deserve such generosity; i’ve done very little to merit it. the friendship lottery is perhaps the most difficult to win, but i guess i’m a VERY lucky person…
