i don’t usually reveal my thoughts online - or anywhere for that matter. if you know a band called Garbage, they have a song that i could most relate to myself: “she’s not the kind of girl who likes to tell the world about the things she feels about herself…” i have kept a diary since i was eight years old, and those notebooks have kept me sane (sort of) all these loooong years. of course, i don’t let anyone else read my diaries. but i have to acknowledge that some thoughts need to be expressed, not necessarily to be heard. so here’s to you, world! it’s up to you to decide whether you want to pay attention to the things that are already there for the viewing.
